About Us

'French for All' are French classes in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. As the name suggests, it is an institute for all those who seek to learn the French language and are passionate about its learning. It was founded by Mrs Deval Mehta-Parikh in 2018 and it has grown manifold since then. ‘Excellence in Teaching’ are the words that describe this institute at its best where Quality is not compromised at any cost.

In a very short time, 'French for All' has gained momentum and become one of the leading french classes in Ghatkopar.

About Mrs. Deval Mehta-Parikh

An advocate by profession from the elite Government Law College Churchgate, she has an excellent academic record from her childhood. Dedication, discipline, hard work, and leadership are the traits that describe her the best.

She had a corporate career at Kotak Life Insurance and Thomson Reuters for a time span of approximately 5 years. Her career was extremely successful, and she was promoted each year from the date of her joining. Further, she was awarded the “Leadership Award” at Thomson Reuters in the ‘Employee of the Year Ceremony’ for her excellent leadership qualities and outstanding performance in managing different corporate teams.

However, she decided to quit her job to follow her passion for French and enrolled herself at L’Alliance Française de Bombay. Quitting a high paying managerial job to follow ones’ passion was never an easy decision, but she followed her heart and achieved what she desired.

Being extremely focused on her goal, she completed all 5 levels in the first attempt and received a C1 certification in French. She then set up 'French for All', French classes in Ghatkopar to pursue her passion. Creating excellence in teaching French has been her motto at ‘French for All’ right from the beginning and she adheres to it in every single class she takes where ‘Quality’ is placed on the highest pedestal.

Deval Ma'am is passionate about the French language, and it reflects in her teaching style. Frankly, I never liked French as a subject and always found it difficult to get decent scores. After I joined her classes in Grade 9, my performance in French kept getting better ever since.

With her effective techniques, she not only helped me in developing interest in French but also helped me score ‘A grade’ in French in Grade 10 which seemed quite tough earlier.

After joining Deval ma'am in 2018, my French scores improved immensely. There has been a drastic improvement in my understanding of French grammar and the French language as a whole.

Thanks to her persistent efforts and rigorous practice, I scored Grade A in French in Grade 10. It was a surprise to me because I have always scored C and D in the past before joining her.

Finally, I would like to add that she is strict as far as the execution of tasks is concerned but friendly and approachable as far as resolution of doubts and/or problems is concerned.

If I say that classes with Deval Ma'am were helpful to me, it would be an understatement. These classes were a lifeline to me, which reflects in my scores. I joined her in Grade 12 IBDP.

On my own graph, I improved from scoring 1 IB point in Grade 11 to scoring 6 IB points in Grade 12. Clearly, this is a tremendous achievement that would not have been possible without her.

Further, in the past 3 to 4 years, I have tried learning this language from around ten different French teachers, as this subject never interested me and was not my forte then. This important year of Grade 12 IBDP with Deval ma'am was the most fruitful of all the past years. She taught me the language and helped me overcome my fear for this subject which is very important for any student.

Even though this was her first-year teaching IBDP Grade 12 student, it never seemed so. She was always up to date with everything and has an excellent command of this language.

To summarise, I would say that these French classes in Ghatkopar were extremely beneficial and fun for me.

I would also further like to add that for any student seeking to learn this language, Deval Ma’am’s classes are a must!!!
